Tiffany Morrison Laid to Rest
On October 7, friends and family of Tiffany Morrison finally had the opportunity to lay their beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend to rest in her home community of Kahnawake, Quebec.
After last being seen sharing a taxi from the nearby Montreal borough of Lasalle, en route to Kahnawake, on June 18, 2008, Morrison, 24, had been considered missing until her remains were discovered on May 31 of this year. The remains were found by a construction worker about half a mile from where she lived in the Mohawk community.
Since the discovery of her remains, Morrison’s death has been classified as a homicide and her killer remains at large.
In the wake of her burial, the Morrison family has put up new billboards on Highway 138 in Kahnawake requesting that anyone with any information on Morrison’s disappearance and subsequent homicide come forward. Those with information can contact the Kahnawake Peacekeepers at 450-632-6505.
