Foster Home Sought
A long-term foster home is being sought for nine-year-old James and his eight-year-old brother Edward. The boys are healthy and have a good daily routine.
James, who is very intelligent and a fast learner, loves going to school. His is artistic and enjoys drawing. But inconsistencies in his life have left him a little anxious and he has difficulty adjusting to change.
While James is very quiet, he is able to make friends with children his age. He can be stubborn and impulsive, but will respond to clear structure and consistency.
Edward is articulate, charming and very creative. Although he is very comfortable playing or watching television alone, he has a good relationship with his brother and his peers. Edward also does well in school though he struggles with French.
The siblings’ parents are not able to take care of them. The ideal home would be that of a Cree family or a bi-racial family of Cree and Caucasian heritage.
