Science summer day camps

This summer in all nine Cree James Bay communities, Elephant Thoughts will be bringing its science program to students interested in expanding their scientific knowledge.

Elephant Thoughts is a global development group that will be encouraging the Cree youth to find interest in science by doing different activities, such as building and programming robots, photography and digital media, chemical reactions, spectacular science shows, and evening telescope viewing.

Elephant Thoughts will be in your community on the following dates:

Ouje Bougoumou: July 6-10

Whapmagoostui: July 6-10

Chisasibi: July 13-17

Mistissini: July 13-17

Eastmain: July 20-24

Nemaska: July 27-31

Waskaganish: August 3-7

Waswanipi: August 3-7

Wemindji: August 10-14

All future Cree scientists are encourage to go and pursue science, spark your imaginations and expose yourselves to all the exciting aspects of science and technology!
